Tuff Cable is a durable 10 guage coated copper heating element that is chemical and gasoline resistant. Tuff Cable is designed to always be embeded into a heatsink. Examples of heatsinks are asphalt, concrete, mortar, pavers, stone, Heatizon Systems Heatsink Kit and Invizimelt Panel. The heat density of Tuff Cable heating element is dependent on the spacing between adjacent runs and length of element. Systems are custom designed to heat loss and ASHRAE standards. Tuff Cable is used for interior floor and space heating, exterior roof and deck deicing, snow melting in concrete, asphalt or under pavers. Features:
Interior Tuff Cable: Interior radiant heat applications include floor and space heating for almost all floor coverings where heatsink capability is present.
Exterior Tuff Cable : Exterior radiant heat applications that include snow melting, and roof and deck deicing in various road, conductive, and cementitious materials. Tuff Cable is used to melt snow under metal roofs, in concrete for walking surfaces, under pavers, or retrofit in existing asphalt or concrete:
