ZMesh also does not need to be embedded in mortar and can be installed directly underneath the wood with ~1/16 inch buildup. Although a mortar or self leveling material must be installed around these cables, they can be installed in new concrete, in self leveling material, and with wood sleepers if nails are used to attach the wood.
